Would the benefit be so speed cameras can't see your plate? I remember a lot of Japanese street racers used to put their front plates on a hinge so at speed the plate would actually tuck into the bumper so their plates couldn't be read by speed camera and Police. Is this what your going for? I'm confused on the benefit?

a lot of people do it. it is supposed to push a little more air to the fmic or the radiator, it makes it harder to get caught by speed cameras, it is legal since it is not swinging, and it is mainly for looks. it gets rid of that big bulky black one.

Our bumper aren't designed so that they can swing anyways and placement is up to you, you can screw into your headlight if you want right? (freak)

yeah im pretty interested too... think you could move it forward another inch to be a little more effective? its adjustable right?

and assuming it is - would anyone be interested if i worked on some sort of electric flip-up motor? [STRICTLY NOT LEGAL] i always like taking on new projects...

this would be adjustable

So this does not swing correct? If I'm correct depending on speed of the car the plate would tilt back?

this would stay at the angle you tightened it it to.

oh no i know how to do it and what i need. it will probably cost me about 8$ a piece. and then i will paint them flat black if you want, so it doesnt look galvonized.

Sorry for any confusion. But they do look like a pretty cool piece and thanks for making and sharing them with the other members. (headbang)

do you want one lewis? and it is not exactly the piece that dub had, it will be very very similar.
