GI: Clunk Fix Brackets

Once we have at least 10 people interested I would apply for AMM status and put up a GB thread. Give the GB 3-4 weeks then it would probably be another 2-3 weeks before the clunk fix kits ship. So I would say it would be a minimum of 6 weeks before kits shipped.

Come on, we got 9 people, go apply! Haha :D

I'm in if this goes thru. I am not on the web often, I will keep an eye on the thread best I can. A PM would get a hold of me quickly when the $$ is due. I can paypal it anytime.

I don't know what the story with Cleverfrog is, but if he is no longer planning on making his, you would have a few in that thread interested. Me being one of them.

Yeah, three months seems a little long. Last year when I went to the fabricator to get a quote to make my clunk fix brackets, I took a sub frame, sway bar with mounting hardware, a set of AXR clunk fix brackets and a sketch with measurements of the Racing Beat style clunk fix. By the way the fabricator looked over the AXR brackets and said the Racing Beat design would be stronger and lighter. The Racing Beat design is actually half the weight of the AXR and about half the price. They set the sub frame up on a table with a FaroArm and redid all my measurements and drew the part in Solidworks. Less than an hour including taking measurements and making the drawing I was holding the first test parts in my hand with a quote. Of course once you have your quote you still have to wait in line behind everything else already on their schedule to be fabricated.
