Getting to 350 AWHP

Im at 274 whp without a downpipe or tune (on mustang dyno). I don't think 350 is possible without a bigger turbo. Full bolt ons and a tune on stock turbo you are prob looking at around 325ish.

Well, you and I have similar mods, so I'd guess with the AP I could probably hit around 290-295 on the dyno.

350 is achievable, but not too many guys will put the money in to do it correctly.

It's not a question of if it can be done, but at what expense it would cost to get there.

Exactly. I'm Guessing maybe around $2/3000 easy!

A good way to start off with the mods needed to achieve upwards of 300awhp would be:

Intake $250
DIY/TBE $800-1100
Standalone $800
Access sport $650
Fuel Pump $350
Boost controller $100

Which Equivalents to a total of= $2950-3250

FYI: Laloosh was one the quickest members to achieve upwards of close to or 300 with his mods: he ran times of 12.9-13.3@106+

He had an MS3, his mods were: Intake/2nd cat-delete/PG fuel pump/18psi

350 hp your looking more along the lines of 4 grand if you buy new.

The guy in that youtube link has a $ 1500 turbo + 1200 + tune + 1000 FMIC + 1000 CPE TBE. Lol thats almost 5 grand already. Not to mention all the dyno trips he had to fine tune his car.

Welcome to the world of performance cars, say hi to a few headaches & good bye to some money. Now sometimes you may come across a deal here & there which is always a plus , but then again you may not. Don't take chances with unproven parts or take alot of shortcuts to save money because you might end up spending more at the end of the day

I'm pretty sure a Standalone would cancel out the need for the Cobb AP and the boost controller. As well as the Cobb AP cancelling out the need for a Standalone and a boost controller.
