getting new shift knob- free thanks 2 mazda

went into the dealer, showed em my mp3 shift knob ("leather" is peeling" getting a new one- free )

anyone else with this prob get a free replacement?

My old dealer has one for me but i never picked it up. I have to call and make sure they still have it. They wouldnt let me put it on myself, and i have trouble making it there b4 4pm.

. I tried to get one instead of the replacement 03MSP shift knob that mine came with. But the parts manager told me that they order new parts through your vin number. So I couldnt have one
I wonder if that was only because they were replacing it under warranty. But i like that one better then mine. Although im not even using mine.. lol

i found the msp knobs (youre talking about the fake cf ones right?) i think for like 35 bucks...i like them if youre talkin about the same one thats fake cf with mazdaspeed written on the side...i dun care if its fake cf, it will match my center piece

I'm looking for a shift knob myself, and I like the 2003.5 msp's shift knob. You got a websight or ebay address to the one you're talkin about for $35???...i know ain't no Mazda shift know that costs $35!!!...actually nothing on the msp costs $35
the thing is I have the kartboy short shifter and I'm not sure as far as the threading on that, i mean if it'll fit the one that i want...

Does the MSP have the same threads as the MP3's???? I would think so because they both have short shifter.

yeah you guys suck i cant find any good shift knobs because i ahve the twm short shifter. so my cf auto zone shift knob will do for now.
