Just ironed out all the numbers with the dealer yesterday. All I wanted was Lazer Blue P5 with Auto and ABS.. but they had nothing with only those options. So, I got a Lazer Blue P5 with Moonroof, 6-CD changer, ABS, Auto tranny, Roof-rack, wheel locks for 1% over Invoice and NO dealer fees. After my $2500 in rebates (I grad within 6 months), the car turns out to be $17,500 after tax (7%), tag, title, misc processing fees. I'll be picking it up today and work out the financing. I should be getting 4.9% from my credit union. I can't wait!
Getting a new P5 later on today!

Hah.. well I've specifically wanted the Auto just so I WONT mod the engine. I've turbo'd so many cars now.. and it (the hobby) turns into such a money pit. I right now I'm concentrating on saving up for my GF and I... once I have $40,000 (between us) I'll be popping the question and buying a house.

Plus, I think only 1% over invoice is a damn good deal. I dont really know anyone who can sell AT invoice.. unless they're working for the dealer and get it at cost.
I could have done that with a Focus.. my uncle is a Finance Director at a dealer down here. But I really dont like the Focus compared to the P5.

What did your P5 come with? I live in South Miami.
I think I got a great deal.. I'm only paying $184 over invoice.
hehe.. Manuals are no problem here. There are plenty of them. I love to drive stick.. I've only owned stick-shift cars.. but there are two main reasons I dont want one:
1.) Miami traffic is KILLER with a stick. I think the only way I'd stay sane is if I have a good sound system and an Auto tranny.
2.) I rather not get back into the engine modding scene and the racing scene. I have other priorities I need to focus on. I wished I could spend time/money on this hobby, but I can't. :'(
