Ordered my block-off plate and plug for the EGR pipe from James Barone Racing and getting my Speed3 running right again. I Seafoamed yesterday and the car runs so much better and from what ive read the EGR system causes nothing but problems with these cars. Any experience or thoughts about this?

Are you getting any codes Mike? I'd do your plugs now that you did Seafoam, they are probably fouled. You'll probably throw a code and fail from an emissions standpoint by blocking the EGR so keep your stock parts.

Not throwing any codes, but i did about 2 weeks ago. Yeah, i'll keep the stock parts and see about passing emissions. Tim said he was able to clear the codes w/ his downpipe and pass emissions.

you WILL get a code with the EGR delete, you can turn it off with the AP but it just puts that parameter in a "not ready" state. I did not do EGR delete as I already have 1 parameter in a "not ready" state due to being catless.
I believe Wisconsin only allows 1 parameter in a "not ready" state or they will fail you.

Mike,
Enjoy your fancy yellow light on your dash until you get an AP to turn it off.

I can probably clear the code for you some night, but it'll probably come back, worth a shot I guess though. AP is probably a better bet.

yep, got the pretty yellow lite on the dash, gettin' used to it. Ill have to see when my next emissions test is and get it taken care of the night before.
