gear oil fill plug

Standard protege 1994

I have changed the clutch plate and now need to fill in new gear oil /transmission oil.

I can not find the fill plug, Filling through the speedo cable is difficult.

I have the axle out, can i fill the oil through the axle till the oil overflows?

can I use Automatic transmission fluid insted of 75W-90 in my standard protege 1994?

The fill plug is the same size as the drain plug. It's, if I remember correctly, toward the front of the car. You can fill from the axle, but the tranny takes a bit more than what you're able add from there.

Don't use ATF. Stick to 75w90.
