gear gearbox synchros shifting transaxle transmission

update: all it needed was a clutch pedal free play adjustment. took a 12mm wrench and 10 minutes.

sometimes i have to push the shifter very hard to get into 1st gear from a stop. 1st to 2nd sometimes grinds and 2,3,4 can be difficult as well. seems to get worse when it's hot outside and MSP has been running a while.

rear engine mount? slave cylinder? transmission rebuild kit? (selector hubs, synchros, bearings, seals)

What is the difference between selector hubs and gears? If rebuilding, do I need new gears?

I had a similar issue before and ended replacing the clutch. All I needed was a throwout bearing but upgraded the clutch since the tranny was off and the new clutch came with a new throwout and pilot bearing.
