GB for DGM CF lip?

whoa okay.. i just realized slug is out of the gb.. and he was the one that wanted to start it.. now what? who's gonna do the gB?

How does it damage the paint, slug420?

inside of the lip and the edges of the top of the lip all rub/scrape pretty extensively on the stock bumper during install. and unless u have some kind of ridiculously thin (since the fit is so tight) padding on the inside of the top part of the lip, it will continue to rub against the stock bumper where it overlaps every tmie you hit something with it or it shifts due to a bumpe or whatever

Yup, he is right. It eats up the paint job that it covers up.

You can try to sand the inside so it won't do as much scratching.

Ohhhh yeah...I have late class Mon Weds. It is pretty scary at night especially since it has gotten so dark. Ahaha how about you go turbo and my car stays the same. Have you seen ghostP5's car? He's all turboed up now. I would BUT...don't think the parents would like that.

lol i wanna go turbo as well but my parents won't let me.. chinese parents go fig... a so called waste of money.. i wanna get a MSP i wonder what are trade in value is.. *ponders* yea i've seen ghosts car.. its a nice car.. i wanted the white one also.. T.T i'm very envious of the white cars.. but i have to admit my blue is nice and has grown on me =D

Ahah Vietnamese parents. They explicitly told me I cannot lower my car. Can't touch the engine or anything either. So all I can do are cosmetic mods. Hmm...trade in, I'm not too sure. I don't think I'll ever sell my car. Will carry it with me to my grave. MSP's are pretty nice though. Wouldn't mind having one myself.

lol.. ya.. my parents told me not to mess with the car.. but lil did they know.. i installed teins exhaust intake and bought rims.. wooo wee.. lol but now i'm taking my car back to the dealers for a tranny fix.. maybe i can tell them to get me a MSP tranny WOoT.. and talk them into sponsoring me.. *doubtful* haha you wanan paint ur rims gold =D haha i am.. Haha I actually wanted to paint mine bronze...then I wanted some bronze advans but then...I didn't get anything. lol.

I hate taking my car to the dealer because they have all these big speeds buumps everywhere and I'm afraid the guy that drives my car back is going to tear my car up on those bumps.

where did u get ur mazda from? i got mine from gilliman mazda over at rosenberg... .. about the painting.. haha i've painted a set of rims before.. if u need any suggestions i can help.. yup i'll be painting my sokudos an advan gold or something.. dunno what u think? mica blue and gold with machine lip? .. still deciding..

I got mine at Jay Marks mazda. Nah, I won't be painting my wheels. I think instead of gold, you should do bronze. It would look way better and it won't be so similar to the WRX look.

I think someone will have to take lead of this group buy. When I bought mine, Protege5Online was in charge. We needed roughly 10 people to get ours. You could try asking him or if you prefer to lead the way yourself. Nevertheless, someone has to be in charge of this or it aint happening.

i would either call dgm direct and see what they will put together for you, or work through mitch at protege5online

not so sure about mitch tho since the last GB he did for theseDGM lips took about 6 months to go through due to lack of interest and the inability to find the last buyer so he might be hesitant about setting up another one
