gas tank help

for about the last month, when i get gas the tube fills up and kicks the gas nozzle off at the pump. i've had the neck to the tank all apart and nothing is pinched or blockin the tank. i am not sure what it could be. anyone know anything on this or have this problem. thanks

so you're saying that it shuts the pump off before the tank is full because the filler tube is filling up?

Do you use the same gas pump everytime?

I know you said you had the neck all apart but i had this happen on my buddies protege. He got this thing and the float did not work and upon some investigation... (Same issues too) we got him an used sending unit and tank and fill-pipe from the junk yard. Turns out that the pipe had a growth inside of it about to the scale of barnicales in it. No idea how it got there or what caused it. (Mabey the previous owner tried to use it as a sub) Seriously tho, try to run a coat hanger up and down and see if crap falls out the bottom. It could just be that. I think the whole tank and all cost about 30 bucks at the junk yard.

the tube fills up as if something is blockin it. it takes me 10 mins to put 10 dollars worth of gas in. does it at every station. ive had it all apart and theres nothing blockin the line

i ran a hose down it pretty much almost the exact width of the pipe and there was nothing blockin it. its almost like the tank can't breath when i am fullin it causing a pressure back up
