(eek2) Is it just me or does anyone else in Nova feel as though their speed is sucking up more gas than usual as the weather changes? I'm blowing through full tanks like crazy and I know it wasn't like that in the summer and No im not flooring it just normal driving!!

I've noticed my gas mileage has gone down lately. I'm gonna reset my ecu sometime, and that should help. Need to get this thing tuned hehe.

must be it...I noticed my mileage is TERRIBLE since I got the car last month. Im lucky to get 20mpg, although on my latest tank I squeaked out 23mpg...

i know that in MA we get a different additives in our gas for the winter. makes the gas burn cleaner or whatever??? it does hurt the milage by +-5%.....i am sure they do that in other areas for the environment. maybe that is why you are getting worse milage????

hey glow dam! 28mpg city drivin?! *wow* lol u have any mods? because thats high even shiftin at 4000rpm

"hey glow dam! 28mpg city drivin?!"

Hes in Florida if you haven't noticed. Therefore he isn't getting "winter" gas with additives like we are.

I've even noticed that my '92 MR2 is getting alot worse mileage since its gotten colder. Its the winter gas.

Don't feel bad. I used to get under 20 mpg, mostly city, in my '03 Protege LX. And that's combined summer and winter driving. And it was stock.

I now get around 25 mpg in my modded Spec V. More displacement, more power... better gas mileage?

The D.C. metro area gets oxygenated gas in the winter months... It's supposed to help with emissions, but at the same time, you make less hp, and get lower mileage....

The P5 averages about 29mpg... it's automatic, and the only performance mod is a CAI... of course, it does have one HUGE drawback to it's mileage... ME!!! hehe... When I drive it, mileage drops to around 27....

The RX-7 averages 15 mpg during day to day driving.... If I'm getting into it, mileage drops considerably... about 10mpg.... Don't even ask about track mileage....

same here, i feel the car is underpowered during the winter, and the mileage ofcourse is getting worse.
