garage door scuffs my rear bumper

Guess I didn't pull in far enough and when my wife got home and tried to open the garage door it wouldn't go up all the way. I go out to inspect the problem and sure enough it had gotten stuck on my bumper...

I will try and get a pic tomorrow of the damage. While it isn't too bad, I figure I would share this as a demonstration of how being tired from work can effect your common sense.

I feel so stupid... haha

That $45 oil change isn't looking so bad at this point. Maybe a detailer can buff it out.

Eh, my wife closed the garage door and it DID go all the way down and then, after hearing the atrocious sound it made, opened it back up. There are scratches on her bumper now too but I was able to buff most of them out. You'd really have to be looking for them now to see them. You should be able to do it yourself.
 
yah that is exactly like mine, you cant even tell unless you stand right on top of it.

Whew. Gonna pull up as far as possible from now on.
