Gameboy games? Whats good?

yeah - what the hell is that? bootleg? there is this kart in our local mall that sells bootleg video games - its pretty damn funny, right there out in the open and all

ok I won the following items on ebay. Do you think the prices I got them for are fair? I don't really know how much games go for. These are all supposedly new and come with the boxes and manuals.

Yea I have the original. I found my old first generation gameboy games. Wow I had like 20! Including some Japanese titles I picked up in Japan. The old games suck though.

the price for tactics is great...I got lucky and got it for about the, because it was listed at EB as the PS1 game! Normally, it's like 30+ used!

Ok so now you guys seen what types of games I purchased recently and actually now that I think about it alot of them are the same type of RPG or side scroller games....I want something different now...whats good?

Maybe some sports games and some shooter types or Doom type games? Or even puzzle games! And YES I am sick of tetris so don't even mention it!

Any opinions? Currently i'm hooked on Metroid and Some DragonballZ RPG game.

Depends on what you like...a real time killer is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Long, deep, and fun as hell...at least for me. It's slower paced becuase it's a strategy game. Boktai is fun because it makes you go outside...it's got a light sensor on it. BRILLIANT!

Other super fun games: Zelda (it's got the SNES game built in...plus a multiplayer element), Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission, Sword of Mana(strange game). Those are my personal favorites...it'd be great if they'd re-release chrono-trigger, though! :drool:

As for where to buy them...electronic's boutique sells games used...they still make a crazy profit, but it's usually a good deal.

WTF? So you have to be in the sun to play BOKTAI? Is it good? So what happens if you want to play it at night?

Yep...if you're not in the sun the game gets STUPID HARD! The thing is, your gun charges in the sun and you're fighting all sorts of undead and vampires. Very fun concept...it's part MGS part castlevania from a 3/4 view.

As for your other games: The mario stuff is essential, Sword of Mana is good...but they break into story a little too often and the script translation was pretty terrible, Harvest Moon is *really* slow paced but amuzing...you actually *run* your own little farm, Castlevania...I forgot which is the best of the bunch...there's like 3 differnt once for the advance and 2 of them are really good while one is just ok. Not sure about any of the other games, though. Dark Alliance for the PS2 is awesome, but I'm not sure how it turned out on GBA. Check out Gamepro.com...their reviews are generally good.
