GABRIEL Shocks, anyone?

i have them on my car, they feel just like the stock struts.

the front driverside (stock) strut wasnt working right, and i didnt have the money for more expensive ones. they work fine, like i said, not an improvement or much of a loss vs. the stock ones, just cheaper

Gabriel is a pretty big name and make alot of parts house factory replacements.

Stock replacement strut. That's about it...
Can't see a problem with buying them.
The biggest difference you'll notice is that having new struts is a nice thing...

Being in the Auto business a long time, Gabriel is pretty much the cheapest struts shocks you can get. Along the same lines as Sear brand struts and shocks. I would atleast get some KYB's. They are ok and have some issues with premature failing, but atleast they do the job when they are not leaking.

Thats what I thought as well so I ordered the GR2s. They come with a warranty so I can get a replacement if they do fail. Also when I sell this car, I don't want to give it away with the upgrades, so I went with the OEM level equipment.

Gabriel shocks have been around since 1907. They are now owned by Arvin Meritor (who also manufactors Purolator oil filters). They specialize in OEM parts, and as mention are quite big in the industry.

How do I know this, well I worked at one of their shock production facilities for a summer years ago.
