If you read through to post 10 referes to the mp3 using an f5mr. The link they supply is dead so I can't see any actual proof

So does anybody know for a fact? I've seen a lot of crap the past few days that contradicts its self but its made me curious enough to ask

The Transmission is the SAME in all 3rd Generations with the exception of the MSP which included a crappy LSD.

I would like to see if someone would know why Mazda would say it put an f5 in the mp3.

It didn't it put a F series.

Didnt the 1.8s come with F series over there? I know they did here.

Yes 1.8's had an f25, which is why I thought it was weird that it would be an f5 instead of the f25. Guess a big typo

Its a typo. the MP3 has a G series. Thats probably why Mazda deleted the page the guy is referencing.
