Furthest you've drove by yourself?

you all are missing the point, how far (STRAIGHT), by yourself, not with your dog, your pet chipmunk or you cat fluffy, just you and no breaks... just straight driving. GAWD, your such idiots..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa

I'm kidding, relax now.

from Lake Tahoe, CA -> Atlanta, GA 3 1/2 days.

no cruise control, no cd player, just me and a crappy tape deck and a POS volvo 240.

but normally during school I did Hartford, CT - Atlanta, GA one day drives 17hours with no cruise control.

most fun was one time the light switch broke and I had to tape a penny to the connectors in order to get the lights to work. it's fun when you're driving down a dark unlight freeway hit a bump and all the lights shut off.

Los Angeles to Enid, Ok for pilot training (that doesn't count because I had my two cats with me) but I did it in two days. About 17 hours straight the second day. I was driving a Uhaul towing my old car behind, and from Charleston, SC to Altus, OK (for C-17 upgrade training) and back. But I did that in two days, too, in my pro. As for longest, drove from Los Angeles to Charleston, SC with my wife and kid. The kid was 2 yrs old, and by the time we were close to Charleston she was SICK of the car seat. Kept crying. That was tough.

Birmingham to Daytona, florida. I guess it didn't count cause there were other people in the car, but they were all in the back watching a movie with headphones on, so I had no interaction. About a 10-12 hour trip in a Yukon xl.

I got to texas, ate some BBQ then turned around and drove back. Needless to say I had a ton of Mt. Dew and the windows down most of the trip.

albuquerque to tampa with my german shepard riding shotgun in my rx7

tampa bay to green bay with the shepard riding shotgun in the rx again and my b**** of an ex following me in her corolla

Austin, TX to near Madison, Wis in 23.5 hours straight. Well, I probably stopped to pee, stretch, and eat a couple times. It's about 1200 miles. And I was in my 20's.

Also Phoenix to Madison area once but took my time. Ended up being 3 day trip each way due to ice storm in Albuquerque (took 3 hours to go 5 miles in a 2wd Legacy) and a snow storm in Kansas City on the way back.

Winter Park, FL to Billings, MT 2326 miles, i've done it twice.

1st time from Billings to start school at Full Sail
2nd time leaving Winter Park going home.

On the way back was with the MP3, no cruise. I can drive a car well with only my left foot now though!

Austin to Galveston (212 miles). Yeah pretty weak. I've gone on much longer trips where I was the only driver, but there was always someone else in the car.
