So I might've unintentionally messed with something. So I tried to do the rear mount and save a few bucks. That was a fail. Got to that part with the plastic rail covering the mount bolts and noticed on my attempt i was starting to reveal the wires in the plastic cover. So pieced everything back together exactly as I took it off and noticed that whenever I moved my steering wheel in any direction, my rpms go up. If I go back and forth it revs up and then suddenly drops to what feel like when your about to drop your clutch. I don't remember if it was the manual or somewhere I read where the idle should be like 700rpms but mines is somehere around 400. Is this normal or what did I break in my adventure to work on my car. I'm a noob when it comes to mechanical work but i do enjoy working on my car if I have the right set of tools. I have an 02 protege5 just in case that helps.
