fun with my intake

i was measuring my intake filter today when i took it out to clean it. after spending more then an hour looking on the web for a filter that will fit i am at a loss... so i have tons of options of i were to not go with a pancake conical type filter and just used one to bolt up to my intake pipe. if i do this then the air going to this (see attached picture) will not be filtered. i think its a pcv something or other... not really sure as i didn't think to look where it went or what it was labeled when i had my filter out earlier.

any help or ideas is apreciated.

Just get a little breather filter and use that. I did what you plan on doing with my old SRI.

thats what i was thinking... just a small cheezy filter and put it on the other end of that hose...
