Gave the Speed a full detail today then took some nice pics:

thats one thing i dont like about silver
fresh wash and wax and it looks the same as before :\

the only bonus is u can go longer between washes cuz it always looks the same

Haha yeah claybar is good stuff. The windows are all rolled down all the way in this pic... but as soon as IL makes tints legal on the front windows I'll get it done for sure. Hopefully the bill to make tint legal on all windows in IL will be passed soon.

Got the same Meguair's carwash and claybar kit just a couple of weekends ago. Was going to do it yesterday afternoon but didn't have enough time after the wash. I'm thinking it will probably take an hour or so to do the claybar. How long did that part of the process take you?

It took around an hour to claybar. In total I think maybe... 30 minutes for wash, 1 hour for claybar, 20 minutes for polish, 20 minutes for wax... and 10 minutes for tire shine and exhaust tip cleaning... so in total around 2.5 hours. With added drink breaks inbetween steps of course.

washed, and washed and waxed looks the same to me
sure there's a diff touching it, waxed its smooth as water
i wax my car every 3 mos and cant tell a diff from just a good wash

granted i have not clay bar'd it yet
