Im thinking of installing the greddy profec b spec 2.
Can someone please explain where the fuel pressure regulator is located?

thanks.

dont think the ms3 has a normal regulator. it has an in tank pump that send fuel to another fuel pump driven by the cam gear and then converts to a million psi or somthing. good luck figuring out what to do with that one.

in the tank as part of the fuel bucket assembly
non-adjustable type and is set at a constant pressure up to the cam driven high pressure pump
it is not a rising rate regulator based on manifold pressure as most other port fuel injection turbo arrangements when the regulator is in the engine bay

this isnt an srt4

You don't say...? (headshake Re-read what I said...

He was asking why he would need a pressure source with a PROFEC B s2 install, and in their manual it states an ideal place is the FPR signal source. This is so because on a port injection vehicle the amount of flow at the injector nozzle is directly affected by manifold pressure (hence the 1:1 ratio). That will ONLY apply to vehicles with a return line to the tank....aka not US, RSX, and many of the new vehicles because the PCM controls the fuel pressure via PWM.
