Hi all!
I came across a really strange thing today.
I got to the gas station on an half empty tank with my protege 2000, and when I tried filling it up, it overflew right away. I was not able to put a single gallon in it.
I've read on other places online, that sometimes spider webs could block a vent or valve from the fuel tank, and cause such thing. I do not know where this valve is though.
A mechanic at the gas station suggested it could be the roll-over valve being blocked...
Can anyone please help. What can it be, and, if it's a component that is causing this, WHERE IS it located!
Thanks a lot in advance. I hope someone can help me here!
Gerry
