The cab fills up with an uncombusted gas smell when I come to a stop. Smell comes through the vents. Dealer can't find leak but its definitely there. Only 10K on the engine. Any ideas? Thx.

If you notice a smell when you stop and are not sure exactly where its coming from, then try parking on a hill facing downhill. Since parking level may not help. obviously due to physics, when stopping, things are pushed forward. Maybe parking on a hill facing downward will reproduce the smell and indicate where the leak maybe coming from. Or try backing your car onto jacks. if anything, make sure the cars full of gas. if its almost empty, it may not reproduce the desired effect as the level in the tank might be to low. This is just a guess and I may be way off.

One of the problems I used to have with my BMW was gasket leak.
I was able to smell gasoline when the hood is open (while idling) and
also in the cabin through the vents (not as bad).

So, gasket might be one of the possibilities, but your CX9 is pretty new ... so it is less likely but still possible.

if i were you, i would leave the car at the dealer until they can fix it. could be a serious safety issue.
