Fuel Filter, Coolant, and Power Steering Fluid

Hello,
So, I checked for myself if the p/s fluid was bad. On my mom's Nissan Frontier, it was cherry red, but in the Protege, it was amber...so, does that call for replacing it?

The container on the Protege was a bit wierd...like, you could only see a little bit of the p/s fluid, so I had to stick my index finger down into there.

There is some ps flush thing, bg services IIRC. They run some kinda cleaner stuff through it then fill it with some synthetic stuff that's supposed to be good for the rack & pump. Had it done a year or so ago. Here's the link........http://www.bgams.com Just click on the steering wheel. Not sure where the damn service locator thing is that I used to find someone close to me to do it. Google around for it.

Yeah, the fluid is brown/amber color, so I will get it replaced at the next oil change. There is no set interval for the P/S fluid to be changed right?
