i dont understand why people can never just answer peoples questions on here. he asked something simple yet all i see is get this or get that, just answer him, theres plenty of posts on why the cdfp is good etc and thats why those arguments rest on other posts.
anyways, ur prolly gonna see problems when u install a different downpipe as thats when most are seeing em with fuel/boost. when i installed mine i got fuel cut. my problem went away when i got the cp-e standback though, but i still hit fuel cut in cold air (40-50s). luckily thats about the coldest i see here. a friend of mine tho only did a test pipe and downpipe but stock exhaust and doesnt get fuel cut, running open downpipe gets the cut tho. hope thatll help.
will getting a tune fix the fuel cut issus?

If the ecu is calling for fuel and its not there... you can try to overcome it with a tune. I dont think the standback is capable of tuning it out much though.
If I had to guess I think the AP will do a much better job. I have not heard of them talking about fuel cut issues even with their intake, tbe, and fmic. It remains to be seen how much their uping the boost though.
Besides... eventually everyone will have a cdfp and it helps out so many other parameters in the car as well. The ecu definitely seems to like it. i just think you'll be crazy frustrated with the stockpump, standback, and big mod list.....especially in colder weather...
