Gotcha, mine spiked and when I removed it the rod was almost all the way threaded up (short). I backed it off about 8-10 turns and it runs about 7.7 psi.
From what they advertised, 7lbs was what I expected. I figured I needed to thighten then connection. I payed for the installation, along with other problems. Just need to buy some gaskets.
