well hell yea man, cant wait to see, hear and ride in her!!! glad you got things done ok. in the mean time....(drive) ....

on another note...this fuel cut and boost spike is aggrivating, should i just say the hell with it and remove the mbc all together or deal??? any help? (dunno)
hey jeff I just installed the Injen and getting fuel cuts in 2nd gear it suck big time i think i will adjust the boost a little. you guys can come over when i installe the turbo back, and see Carlos little beast finished!!!!

from what ive been reading in the archives, 10psi seems like the maximum comfort zone for the engine, w/o upgraded internals

Star80- I think that freeing up the exhaust is more important than an intercooler. Now I have both so I don't have to worry about this, but I think with an intake and catless, and fcd he will be fine at 8-9 psi. This is just my .02
It will spool much faster. I noticed that my wastegate no longer stopped at 8 Psi, it shot to 10Psi when I ran cat-less at WOT, so I would recomend the FMIC then the Cat-less for that reason...

Upping the boost is a risk , every time you do it. Hell, motors have blown at stock boost. Loading it too much in higher gears, when you don't have enough speed could make it go Boom.

yep mine does that too ... stock boost right now is like 9psi

Jeff... ok, here is what you do. Quickly drive to your nearest used car dealer and trade the banana in for a non-turbo, big ass family sedan. Make sure it's automatic and not manual. ;)

Ok guys/gals i recently installed a MBC (JoeP) and i am having problems with it and its pissin me off...

Fuel cut occurs almost every time i go into 3rd gear around 3K RPM! (bang)

If i get a FCD, will this is in anyway harm my engine/turbo? I am only gonna boost 8/9 PSI WITH supporting mods....

Why exactly does Fuel Cut happen?

Anyway that you can alter your driving conidtions and NOT get fuel cut or is a FCD the only way to rid this bulls*** problem??? (dunno)

THANKS!!!
