FS-ZE intake cam & Mazdaspeed exhaust cam

just wondering, anyone with the FS-ZE intake cam and the Mazdaspeed Exhaust cam in there FS-DE. What kind of idling are you experencing?? Lobe or not?? My car idles around 800rpm, but has a Lobe to it. (but will not stall out) I have heared the exhaust cam will do that. I felt the power increase around 3300rpm. A stronger pull to it. Let me know....

p.s. the timing marks on the cam gears????? anyone have pics of the properly lined up....also each cam gear has (2) slots marked (I) and (E). i know what they mean, but are they important.

The I and E on the cam gears have to do with where the drive pin on the cams lines up. The gears can be used on either the intake or the exhaust cam so they have to be indexed properly for each cam. I don't have a lope at all. The car is still smooth, but has a slight vibration at idle. That's the only difference and it was the exhaust cam that caused that. I know because I installed them a few weeks apart.

I noticed no difference at idle. I also changed mine about 2 -3 weeks apart and had the intake in first. With either I noticed no difference.

mine cams pretty hard at idle but then agian my intake cam is advanced 7 degrees lol
