Hopefully someone else will chime in here, as I never installed the one I sold. I'm way out on Long Island and my favorite station is in NYC (WLIB - Air America Radio). It barely comes in as it is some days, so I wasn't going to chance it.

yeah...I am hoping so. I would like to get this, but I want to make sure it matches and the reception stays good.

I'm still waiting for mine. RPM indicated that it can take up to 4 weeks for them to custom paint. Should have it with in 1 week. I hope.

Not sure of the reception, I live in a busy/large area so that should not be a problem and I listen to XM radio 99% of the time. Beside it looks a lot nicer than stock.

I just got mine. It's not installed yet but I did a couple of tests in the driveway.

Reception was not drastically changed. Weak stations might have gotten a little worse, but nothing major. Also I was able to hide my XM antenna underneath it with no ill effects on the XM reception. Sweet!

Pics of install will be coming when the time comes. Currently my XM antenna is on the trunk, but it will be moving to the roof to hide under the sharkfin.

Paint quality and match is excellent on mine.

Still haven't moved the antenna... I have been waiting to move it until I can do it with the install of some of my other stereo stuff.

My XM receiver has a little signal strength meter, and it showed absolutely no change between being under the shark fin and no shark fin.

Yup Sox fan here.... hate the Cubs!!! (ughdance)

Anywho... it took over 3 weeks. It's actually shipped elsewhere other than RPM. It LOOKS so much better than stock!!!! Looks like the ones on the 06 Bimmer 3 series. (first)
