2003 Mazda Protege 5
Up for sale is the leather shift knob off of my Automatic 2003 Protege 5. For clarification this is the shift know with the black leather, silver insert, and chrome lower trim. It does not have the automatic push button. The 2003 Protege 5 models do not utilize the push button method. It is in great condition. Make me an offer.

I replaced it with an Ichibahn gun metal shift knob and an Ichibahn black leather shift boot. Sort of gives it the absolute manual look even though it is only a tiptronic automatic.

Did you shave or cut-down the shifter? I ask because I understand that the AT shifters are very long without the knob.

I left it completely stock and just built up around it. It is very long, but with the Ichibahn stuff on it, it actually looks almost factory stick. I will have pictures up on my website soon so you can see what it looks like. I will be sure to get you the link.

Cool, thanks! I've been wanting to change my shift knob but haven't seen any options that would really look good given the length of our shifter. (cool)
