FS: 2003 Protege5 - Manual - 65K miles (SALE PENDING)
Ladies and Gentleman,
Time for me to move onto another car.
I have joined this forum when I first got the car in 2003, but slowly faded off of it for the lack of time and don't remember the old id. I did pick up a couple of useful mods before fading off of here, which I'll describe a little later.
So here we go.
2003 Mazda Protege5 --> SOLD, Pending unforseen issues
Everything is in a perfect working order and drives beautifully. If I was buying a used car this is the condition I would want that car to be in.
I am asking $6500 or B.O.
I am in Staten Island NY but work in Hoboken NJ, therefore the viewing and test driving possibilities are plenty.
I didn't think I was going to be selling the car as I wanted to get the Miata and was required by law(wife) to keep the car in case it had to fit the whole family, this is the reason for the new tires. But, once I actually took the wife to see the Miata this was it, NO DEAL/NO WAY. :'( So I naturally chose to have a happy family over the happy commute and will be getting a four seat convertible and therefore selling my lovely Protege5. (Dealer had found an almost exact car I wanted in transit, so I am back)

- 5 speed manual transmission
- Leather interior
- 6 disc CD changer
- Side Airbags
- 4 wheel ABS
- Brand spanking new set of tires (less than a month and 500 miles old, receipt available if proof is needed)
- Brake pads are less than 6 months and 5K mi old
- Intermittent rear wiper switch mod (from MPV)
- Windows always on mod
- White side parking lights with amber light bulb mod
- Tinted windows (35% legal tint)
- WeatherTech wind deflectors
- Maintenance is done by the manual and on time
- Engine has had Full Synthetic 5w30 oil since day one, changed every 5K miles
- This car has seen 70% highway/30% city driving
- No accidents, no pets and no smoking in the car
- No maintenance records, sorry I didn't think of selling the car before two weeks ago
- It has cruise control
