Yet again, I find myself posting a "What the hell is wrong with people" thread. This is the second incident I have had a major problem with here at work. If you remember correctly I also had my front left bumper kicked in by some dipshit in the parking lot, for this reason: "your alarm goes off alot".
I work in Hollywood. which isnt really a safe area to be in at night,but on a normal baisis I am here during the day only . My office is on the 3rd story of a building called the "Television Center". It was originally the old Technicolor building and has some history to it, "The Wizard of Oz" was first screened in the office across from mine.
We have a guarded parking lot, and guards that patrol the building inside and out, 24 hours a day. The only people that have access to my building are employees and the cleaning crew. There are also a few security cameras up and down the hallway.
Last night, I left my digi cam on my chair in my locked offfice in a camera bag, only to find this morning that it was gone. They left the camera bag, but both my camera and memory sticks were stolen. A few people were working late last night...people that I trust.. and were in and out of my office getting music. I questioned them about it, and no one saw anything.
I sent out a company wide email, and called our building security, and am trying to file a police report on this. I have been on hold for 45 min now. This is all very upsetting. I feel so violated. The worst part about all this is the camera was my fathers day gift for my dad.
I asked the security guard to check the cameras, but he was reluctant to help out. This is a big bummer.
All i say is BAH!
