front strut bar bolt broken

Hey guys my front strut bar bolt broke today from rust i guess. So I was wondering if i bought the gtspec strut bar can i remove that black piece that is holding the stock bar and just use the 4 bolt areas around the supension? Thanks

Yes..a new Strut bar will take the place of these....
You remove the four bolts and the strut bar itself comes off...then you can remove the plates.
Yes..No problem removing them..they are there only to mount the Strut bar to.

k cool ill do that then but there is some rust on the 4 bolts so i think im gonna go get new nuts so ill just use PB blaster and jiggaloo to make sure they will be fine
