so im trying to paint my headlights black and i already read a post/how-to but... I CANT LOCATE ALL THE BOLTS. mainly the side ones i guess the fender well.. so if anyone can help me i am trying to have this done by tomorrow... THANK YOU THANK YOU! (cheers)

take off the fender liners/splash guards. also check the fender to bumper contact area. behind the corner lights and fog lights. just look around. cant be too hard

Removal of bumper:

1. remove plastic screws (clips) from wheel well and put them in a safe place so you wont lose them

2. remove 2 screws at the bottom of the bumper (each screw is located on the bottom of the bumper in front of the wheel. This is where short stubby screw driver comes in handy)

3. get under the front bumper and remove 6 (i think 6) 10mm bolts that hold bumper and plastic under-carriage spash guards in place.

4. remove two 12mm bolts (i think they're 12mm if not then 14mm...I'll double check that) that are located under the bumper in the middle (they are about one foot apart from each other)

5. Grab your long philips screw driver, sit next to the wheel (on each side) bend the wheel well plastic towards the wheel. There is a screw on each side behind the bumper, that holds it to the chassis. Remove it. It is on the same level as the headlight. Stick your hand in there and you should find it with no problem. The hat of the screw is pointing towards the rear of the car.

6. Once 1st 5 steps are completed, grab bumper from one side and let your friend grab it from another end. The bumper is sitting on two tabs. Each tab is located under the corner of the headlight. ATENTION!!! BE CAREFUL!!! Pull the bumper upwards and then pull it forwards away from the car. Be carefull pulling it away from the car. Make sure that the bumper is off those tabs otherwise you might brake the points (o-shaped) that are sitting on the tabs.

I can have it off in 15-20 now no problem. And, i already broke all the tabs on both cars, so, no worries here. lol

Removal of bumper:

1. Remove the grille first. Two screws on the outer corners and towards the middle you will see two black plastic clips (they are smooth). Use a slotted screwdriver to pull these out and then pull the clips out. Next pull up and away from you...and don't be scared to pull hard.

1. remove plastic screws (clips) from wheel well and put them in a safe place so you wont lose them I have found it helps to slip a slotted screwdriver behind the clip and push it out just a little while unscrewing the screw with a phillips. It also helps to turn the wheels while working on that side of the car, ie: turn the wheels right while doing the ds and then turn them left for the ps.

2. remove 2 screws at the bottom of the bumper (each screw is located on the bottom of the bumper in front of the wheel.

It may help to shine a flashlight in to see this the first time you do it. It can be a b**** to find. On my car the hat is facing downwards?

5a. There is also a screw found where the bumper and fenders meet that you will find immediately after pulling back the fender liner.

Make sure that the bumper is off those tabs otherwise you might brake the points (o-shaped) that are sitting on the tabs HEED THIS WARNING!!! I broke both of mine while pulling the bumper two weeks ago and I knew about it...just forgot I was supposed to pull the bumper up then out. lol.

Added a lil extra from my experience.

I can have the bumper off in 15 minutes now.

less than 10 here... but then again i don't have any splash guards or clips... just six bolts and one plug and its off

I broke the bottom tabs on my lights the first time I did this to remove my headlights.
