Front Brake Replacement

Ok, so wife tells me her POS P5's front brakes are making sounds...I guess at 47k it makes sense so I will be getting some new rotors and pads. My multi part question is as follows:

Should I upgrade the brakelines (will probably sell car in a year)
Should I go big brake kit (will probably sell car in a year)
take it to a shop and have those asshats put on stock replacements

I am leaning towards the stock replacements but, feel free to try and talk me into spending more money on the car.

i'd just get 1 year warranty brake pads and sell it like you say you're going to, why invest money into something you don't plan to keep. Just have to keep it going until the day you let it go.

Definately an easy DIY. Took me 30 minutes to do the change to new pads. If the rotors aren't horribly distorted, I'd use those, especially if you are getting ready to sell.

Not sure if it is....but can't hurt to ask. I got the posi-quiet pads and centric rotors for all four corners for $170 shipped to PA.

I sent Jeff an email asking about the sale, I will probably do it myself if Jeff's prices are still current.

I will probably just go with the cheapest rotors and pads

BTW - I will be entertaining offers on the car in the very near future for those local.

FYI- prices were still good on the website. Jeff shipped out the brakes and rotors and got them in a week.

Just finished putting them on, easy install if you have the correct tools and the brakes and rotors work like a charm.
