From Toyota to Mazda...

Hey there everyone. So I just bought my 2007 Red MS3 GT... I've been a Toyota/Nissan guy and still am, but I'm liking my Mazda, its fun to drive and plenty quick for the money. I'm a previous owner of a 2002 Lexus IS300 and before that a 1983 Corolla RWD. I do miss my tail sliding antics and certain things about my lexus ( silky inline-6, Sound system) but I'm loving the speed, the practicality of the hatchback and THE TURBO!!!! lol'

Anyways since my car is bone stock now and im sure you all know what a stock red MS3 GT looks like inside and out I'll post up a few pics of my previous cars

I dont plan to do too much to my MS3... I definitely gotta name her but probably only Intake, exhaust, upgraded intercooler and springs. I really want to focus on small things that make the car more of a driver's car. I know the engine mount is a must and definitely something to make the shifter and shifting feel much better.

I was on my.is before and that community was amazing (very informative and helpful) and although this seems like a smaller forum I look forward to participating on it as well and sure it will be just as good.

Welcome to the forums. I'm also historically a Toyota guy, although I had been driving MINIs for 5 years before I got my MS3 in September of '08. Recently picked up a '92 Supra with a JDM 1JZ swap as a weekend wqarrior/project car so I could again experience that silky smooth inline 6 engine, but with twin turbos.

Love both cars for very different reasons. The MS3 truly is about as good a compromise between sportscar and utility as I can imagine.

I think this sums it up...
