dude, too much heat...WAY too much time. I did my headlights at 200* for less than 3minutes and they came apart just fine...

we put them in the oven for 12 minutes at 250..that's what the how-to said

it wasn't a time issue, the oven heats from the top and the bottom at the same time, that's y only the top of the headlight was damaged, the bottom was protected by the "baking thing plate'

Did you put it in the middle of the oven, and have it set on BAKE? If so, you should have no problems.

The instrutions I used said 275 for ten minues. Mine were okay.

that's how mine works, u set a temp and teh bottom heats up, u set it to broil and the top works

not too sure how his works though

i tried

to get a prebuild set, but the guy that's sellin them at the price i can afford isn't online, so i just got a replacement

we'll c how this goes.....

Did you wait for the oven to preheat?

The heating element just goes balls out full on until the whole oven gets up to temperature.

The element then turns off and on to maintain the temperature within a few degrees.

lol it's like a mix between a salvador Dali painting, Pimp my ride, and Frugal Gormet! ahaha
