I have noticed that gold and silver also go well with white and would be good colors to paint your calipers.
As far as your roll cage you should get it powdercoated so you never have to touch it up or repaint it again. I know that would cost a bit more but it would be way worth it in the long run. If that route is to expensive for you I would suggest painting it with the spray on truck bed liner stuff. They sell it in spray can's now and it is way durrable to chips and scratch's. I used that stuff for some diamond plate floor matt's of mine and it worked great. It never chipped or got scratched after years of abuse.

yeah. i sprayed my engine bay with the 3m stuff. worked well looks awesome...
but idk. i'm going to redo my door cards soon too. using some alcantra like the sparco wheel i have.. so.. idk. maybe white will be sweet.. i just don't want too much white.. and everything else is black.. the doors, floor ceiling, pillars... seats.. etc.

well so far today-i uninstalled my cage. started painting it..white.. it'll look good. i came home for a **** break.. and, i'm going back up in a while. i'm gonna pull all of the spindles, and pound out each bearing and hub. i'm gonna paint the spindles black. and the calipers are staying red.. but i'm going to re-do them better... we vacuumed the car..clean!.. and i might start my wire tuck tonight. idk though..also, i'll pull my door cards, and steering wheel and go to the fabric store to hopefully pick up some of the same colored stuff. we'll see.

alright everyone.. here's what i've been working on. nothing too special.. nothing that's REALLY going to get it closer to being done..actually, it looks further from being done every day.. SOOO.. help me sell my turbo kit, so i can get a car, so i can pay my debt and finish this b****!! DO IT!

well. i was going to keep the cage white, but after putting it next to my car, the whites were SOOO different that i just didn't think it'd flow well. so. it's going to stay black.. not a big deal as i'm doing the door cards in the sparco blue suede..

after looking at brian mp5ts build thread.. i've decided to do a few things different with my build...
first off,
i'm going to build the motor myself, i'm going to build the trans myself. and i'll be upgrading the head-i'll leave that to a machine shop..i'm going to fab up a turbo kit myself, and piping as well.
anyways,
i'm going to probably go FULL standalone.. no stock wiring, all custom. custom dash.
Brian however, doesn't have a radio, window switches(i think) or ps../ac
i dont want ac, i don't have it. I"m thinking about the fact that i wanna keep those things. so i will HOPEFULLY, be talking to him often and a lot about his build, wiring schematics etc. He's very quickly become an inspiration to me. so we'll see what happens.
