fp and fs hybrid ?

i baught an fp motor to swap in my probe and the headgasket is shot...so im just going to take the head and pistons and send it to scrap since the importer wont refund my money... just wondering if the fp01 intake cam would be an upgrade over the fs01 intake cam ? my fp came with fp01 intake came and fs01 exhaust cam.... i found this wired because i cant find info on an fp01 cam nor evidence the fp came with an fs01 cam... also is the fp intake manifold better ? mine dosent have the black box on it but it has a tiny throttle body.. my car and fs manifold are at school so i can see if the FS throttle body will pop on it or not... anyideas what i should take off this and put on the fs ? i have a turbo kit and eventually will put it on

Do you know if the fs rods fits the fp crank??
can forged rods fit fp engine??

Check out protegefaq.net The FP cams have less duration than the FS cams. It sounds like you have a JDM intake that has the extra resonance chamber which should be slightly better than the USDM intake. Post up some pics when you get a chance.
