Should I be afraid? We bought one new in 96, didn't keep it long probably because it was gold. This one is rosewood/dark brown. Original owner, 150k miles. I remember these having expensive distributor issues, not sure what else to look for. I'm also looking at a 00 Contour SVT with 145k for the same money. I have put my hands and eyes on the SVT, needs a driver seat and dash pad. Other than that, no paint work, silver, straight car.

that sux. there a really rare find to locate a v6 with the MTX trans. it took me a few years of searching constantly to finally find mine. and 150k is nothing on those motors.
