THE BIGGEST EVENT EVER TO HIT THE EAST COAST: FORMULA DRIFT

APRIL 16th, 2005 @ WALL SPEEDWAY, WALL, NEW JERSEY

Meet the drivers, see the cars, and enjoy the car show, in the long awaited event for the first time in the EAST COAST. Space is extremely limited! Car show, vendor row, stage will be all outside along with the drifting.

Event info:

- The only OFFICIAL US Drifting Championship
- The producers of the First D1 Grand Prix bring over 40 top drifters in the States to compete for the first and only drifting championship!!!
- Action Sports Demo.
- Top Japanese Drivers, cars.
- Professional Japanese Drivers Tarzan Yamada, Ucchi Utsumi to judge
- Formula D Umbrella girls on-site as well as Sunisa Kim and Mary Jo Castillo, Courtney Day
- Full stage with performers, DJ's and music acts
- Driver Autograph session

The doors open at 12:00pm, we will be meeting up around 1:00. The event starts at 2:00pm. Tickets cost $25 at the door, or $22.50 if you buy online through the www.formulad.com site.

3:00pm - 3:30pm Break to Pit
3:20pm - 3:30pm Drivers suit up and stage
3:30pm - 4:30pm Qualifying Round #2
4:30pm - 5:15pm Break to Pit | Autograph Sessions
5:15pm - 5:30pm Drivers Meeting: MANDATORY Top 16 qualifiers announced
5:30pm - 5:45pm Drivers suit up and stage
5:45pm - 6:15pm Top 16 & Judge Introduction
6:15pm - 6:30pm Pro demonstration | Break (on-track)
6:30pm - 7:15pm Round 1 | Best 16
7:15pm - 7:45pm Break
7:35pm - 7:45pm Drivers suit up and stage
7:45pm - 8:15pm Round 2 | Best 8

Directions

From the North (New York, etc.):
1. I-95 South to NJ Turnpike South (cars only)
2. Take exit #11 towards GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH
(US-9)/WOODBRIDGE(US-1)/THE AMBOYS(RT-440) onto GARDEN STATE PKY SOUTH
3. Take exit #98 towards TRENTON(I-195 W)/ALLAIRE AIRPORT
4. Turn left on W HURLEY POND RD
5. Turn left on RT-34 SOUTH
6. Arrive at 1803 STATE ROUTE 34, WALL, on the right

From the East (Philly, etc.):
1. I-195 East
2. Merge onto NJ-34 N via EXIT 35B toward MATAWAN
3. Arrive at 1803 STATE ROUTE 34, WALL, on the right

From the South (Atlantic City, etc.):
1. Merge onto GARDEN STATE PKWY North
2. Take the RT-138 E exit- EXIT 98- toward RT-34/BELMAR/I-195 W/TRENTON
3. Take the exit on the LEFT toward RT-34/I-195
4. Merge onto NJ-138 W toward RT-34/PT. PLEASANT/I-195/TRENTON
5. Merge onto NJ-34 N via EXIT 35B toward MATAWAN
6. Arrive at 1803 STATE ROUTE 34, WALL, on the right
 
i will be there. i am actually leaving in a few minutes. i am working the rockford/mb quart booth with my best friend. (reps backed out at last minute, so i got elected) so hope to see you all there!!
 
A few of my friends are going, I unfortunately will not be there because I have to work.
 
well it was a nice turn out. other than the 60 mph wind gusts that decided to throw a 5x8 sheet of plywood against my car :'(

Yeah it was awsome hey byohndspeed by any chance do you have a blue msp?? because I saw one parked there like toward the 1st rows all the way to the right. I hope you guys took mad pics and some video I got a couple of pics but they weren't that great since my POS digi cam took a crap on me with low battery but here is the other thread were you can check them out - http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100537
