The Forge bov will work with your stock piping. All you would need to do is disconnect the hose running from the bpv to the intake and disconnect the hose running from the bpv to the hot pipe on to the intercooler. take out both hoses and the bpv. Connect the supplied silicone hose to the hot pipe with the supplied clamp, then connect the bov to the silicone hose with the supplied clamp. The kit should come with a silver blanking plug so you can use it to block off the open hole where the bpv connected to the intake. Then, hook up the vacuum line that was connected to the bpv to the bov and you are set. The kit comes with a small length of vacuum hose to use if you wanted to. The kit should have come with different springs as well for different stiffnesses. Try out the springs to find the one that will work for you. I will warn you though, any VTA bov will cause stalling issues without proper tuning. I have this bov on my car and I am still not fully satisfied with it. But it does turn heads. I get a slight chirp, then a whoosh afterwards. But honestly, I would run a dual setup with bpv/bov if you wanted reliability and sound too. But, I will be switching to either a HKS SSQV recirculated or a Turbosmart dual port soon.

I have two pics below with the BOV being tested on my stock piping and then after I got my FMIC installed.

If you are not scared to make a hole in your cold pipe and use some plumbing supplies from your local hardware store then read this thread. :)

I actually did it and rant if for a year with the stock cold pipe and it works great. No stalling issues and you get the Whoosh. I might have a picture of it somewhere if you want to see what it looks like.

Does the dual bov/bpv require me to get hardpipes?

I strongly suggest getting hardpipes. I don't think the stock piping woud last long like that. Everyone that I know so far in my area with MSPs have broken their stock pipes one way or another. Some just cracked over time. I even broke mine when I had all stock motor mounts. So, I suggest you play it safe and get hardpipes for a dual setup. Hey, you get reliability and a little bling at the same time. lol. But the forge bov is fitted for the stock piping. You can just get a cold pipe from someone in the for sale section and run a bov off of that. Then, your stock bpv will still recirculate and you can vent at the same time with no issues.

1) stop being a ricer

2) for maximum performance and effectiveness, stay recirculated! i'll never understand some people's obsession with the stupid "woosh" sound from a blowoff valve

CLAW: this is rice-y. as rice-y as slapping a fartcan onto a stock exhaust strictly for the sound.

see above; also, personally, I don't believe that someone who posts a thread per day about how to get their BOV to work gets to tell me what's rice-y and what's not

i run a honda shop, i know rice when i hear it.. its def rice. what ever happened to the good pure clean fast cars.

well his question was not am i a ricer or is the woosh sound stupid? so try keeping to the topic. no need to keep your panties in a bunch.
