Is anyone running a forge BoV in a dual setup with the stock bpv if so do you have a pic of the setup. I ordered the forge BoV and its sounds ni9ce but I am stalling due to my wga crapping out on me. I also got Hardpipes for the coldside coming in the mail and want do a dual setup but haven't seen anyone do a dual setup with a forge on this site .

Help. Why would this be done? We have a single turbo, and single intercooler. What the heck is the benefit of dual BPV's?

This is in the MSP section. (hand) That said, running a dual setup (BOV and BPV) on the MSP will keep the car from stalling compared to just having a BOV, and no BPV.

I wasn't planning on running 2 Bpv's but a forge BoV with the stock bpv recirculating. Now I know people run dual setups with HKS and Greddy BoV's but I have yet to see any using a forge BoV in their dual setup or at least my searches haven't turned up anyone doing this. I just want to know if anyone who is in fact running a dual setup using the forge BoV could post some pics of the setup so I can get an idea of how to set mine up.

I recognize it is the MSP fourm. I stray from time to time, to see how the other mazda people are making power.

That said, the stock BPV should suffice unless it is too small, too slow, or leaking. If any of those variables aren't affecting the BPV, then the mod is all about flash.

ANY BOV (not BPV) on a MAF car is a general bad idea, MSP or not.

Which would handily explain stalling on a BOV.

correct. using a bov on a maf car setup like ours (on the intake) it will stall, drop rpms at idle and cause a rich condition. However people want the woosh, so they use a bpv to recirc the air and prevent stalling, rich condition etc, and then the bov is for the sound.
