i received my forge bov today but after the install was done my car still does the turkey sound... wtf can somebody help me because i want the wooosh everybody got when they install the forge kit . thank you very much and by excuse me for my english i am a french canadian:)

Try searching for dual bpv/bov set up, a lot of people still have the turkey with just the blow off valve so maybe this other set up can work for you.

do you have the green spring in it? They sell a tuning kit for the forge and hte green is the lightest one

What about stalling issues you have any?

You most likely have the yellow spring in the BOV, you need to call or email forge and ask them for a green spring (softest spring)... they should send one out to you.

i dont have any stalling issue. so i will order the green spring and hope its that!

thats great to hear! Now i cant wait for mine to get in so i canslap it on the car

i have the forge bloww off valve ,had to oreder the spring kit becase it came with the blue spring, i could barely hear it ,had to roll down the windows and turn off the radio . put the new spring in and it sounds ok to me , would still like it louder but that will change with boost. as far as stalling if i make a emergency stop the revs fall pretty low and it acts like it wants to shut off but never does

I had the forge BOV and when installed on just a hot side hardpipe I had no more turkey just a woosh sound and no stalling whatsoever. So if you get a hardpipe made for the hotside (turbo to I/C) then put the nipple on it just like in the stock location (yes I said nipple), then you would get a totally different sound out of it. Trust me, you'll be very happy with just the hotside pipe and the forge BOV on there. I was. But remember, even though mine didn't stall yours may, people have had mixed results. But the sound your looking for can definately be had with just the hardpipe and forge bov. Best of luck.

NO BAKRAUF its sounds more like a woosh
on a off topic i went to the drag race last night at pmi and i was told you could barely hear it from the strands t he look on this kids face with a crx was priceless as he said what kind of car is that?!?!?!?! and i could have sworn i heard a blow off valve ! me and my frinds laughed and all said at the same time you did ! lol

The turkey is not a good thing turtle. It might sound good but when your turbo craps out from the compresser surge you might not think so. Snoop if you still havent gotten rid of the turkey try using a different vac source. I am using the brake booster line as a source and i have no turkey on my type s like i had with the stock bpv line.

May I know if you have the green spring?

I think 99% of the Forge BOV come installed with the Yellow Spring. I didnt even install mine untill the spring kit arrived. THe green Spring is thee one you have to use. UNless your boosting over 15 psi
