FORD TBIRD SC vs. MProtege5?

Hey guys, i just wanted to take your opinion because my friend wanted to race my Protege 5 with his SuperCharged Ford Thunderbird! 210hp vs. 140hp (injen CAI), 3700lbs & 2700lbs, 315torque & 135torque (P5)

Thunderbird SC's ("super coupes") are no slouches. As heavy and bulky a vehicle as they may be, they are quite quick compared to our cars. Quarter mile times for an SC run between 15 and 16 seconds at about 90 miles an hour. Just look at those torque numbers, man - he's going to kill you. but hey, all in good fun right?

i beat my friends thunderbird, but then it again it was only a 3.8 V6, but heavy as hell.

I raced a (Super Coupe) in my old 93 Maxima SE , close race until I started pulling him on the top end. Those Thunderbirds are pretty fast. I would say the P5 doesn't stand a chance.

You might be able to smell his exhaust around the corners....with the fan on high

T-Bird all the way. I had one with a Superchips, worked tranny, no cats, pushing about 13psi. Had 250hp at the wheels. Did 8 sec on the 1/8. It was fast, and it is one of the cars I really miss.

YOU CAN DO IT!!! just dont expect to win or anything. those sc are perty dang quick. the p5's dont stand a chance. oh well
