fords not as bad as it used to be... they're coming out with some really nice cars nowadays. cars like the ford gt (who wouldnt want one of these), the new mustang, the focusRS8, and a new truck; the F-150.

all i hear is a bunch of ppl that bash a company just becuase... without any proof that their new cars are fualty.

i for one wouldnt mind tradin in my car for a new mustang or focusRS8 (if it ever hits production).

oh and last time i checked, my A/C still works...

Yea... they might be similar, but I'll take my Japanese made MP5 over a "Made in Mexico" Ford any day.

interesting, I must have been misinformed. My dealer told me they were build/assembled in Korea. Im confused! Save me!!

I agree, people just bash cars for no reason, no logic, and no proof. I think its just a need for those people to bash anything that isnt what they have. I hate it when somebody bashes a company, and you ask them to give you a reason why it sux, and they come up with some stupid line like "my aunt's cousin had one and it had problems". I hear that crap all the time. IMO the majority of car companies make some good cars, and some not so good cars.

As a general rule, ford plants usually make the chassis to cars. ford makes the chassis for the tribute (escape) and all the nissans. Thing is, it could be a ford plant in japan...oh hell, i'm not going into that again.

The 3rd gen Protege has been built in Japan since day one. You can tell by the VIN and it would be on the sticker when bought new.

I think that japanese cars are more reliable than american cars. WHY? Because American Engineers get wasted and stoned in college when they are supposed to learn how to design cars.
