For You Classic Car Lovers:

Well he did pretty good except! He didn't put the engine in right and the eco chambers have to go.

Me and a buddy of mine built is 55 in 7 days. He wrecked his 69 chevell on his way home (Army) and was on leave for 10 days. We had to redo ALL of it. New suspention, rearend, wiring, interrior, motor, trans (out of the 69).
We got it up and going in 7 days. He ended up wrecking it 1mile from where he wrecked the 69 LOL. It wasn't that bad though. He still has it.

my dad used to have a ...57 chevy bel air i think. all done up and stuff.

i wanted to buy him a 56 w/ a DECENT exterior and have someone/work w/ him/them to restore it..

i know this is a vague question, but what kinda money can you expect to pay for something like this?

big crate motor/trans, leather interior, nice wheels, good paint job.?
If you're trying to by a 57 chevy that is runnig and in even less then ok shape your looking at 15k+! They go on up to 60+k.

56. and i've seen decent running for 2-5 k. however they've got a lot of rust.

My friend was offered 40k at the last show for his ( the 55 at the beginning of this thread) and he just laughed it off. The 55-57 in particular are very popular collectables.

Wow, that does look different. I will show these to my friend with the 55. I would definitely be interested in seeing the pics you have of his car when you find them.
