Why dont you have the car anymore??
Sold it to go back to school. It's all good - everyony should have a '69 Camaro or early Stang at least once in there life. I have never in my life got more pu$$y from a car before or after. Next up is the before mentioned '57 - All black, air-bagged, 20's and a TT Ram 502. I've got one more year untill I finish school (2nd career, I fart dust :D) A hybrid Protege will be my daily ....

I haven't owned anything older than a 1990 yet, so I will probably get the classic later. Or if I stumble upon a divorce sale. One guy at the show was talking about a guy that sold a 67 fastback 427 for 4,500 because he didn't want the x to get anything.

Ahhhh ... good to know I am not the only one who's sickness knows no boundries. My "350" was actually a 400 crank 383 (with a 100 shot activated by the dimmer switch) all lines were hidden under the Edelbrock "RPM" mani.

:) Good example. The best way to buy a classic is to buy from a knucklehead like me. Don't bother spending $50+K building up a beater. Find a nice $30K ride that someone dropped $60K in - and then make it your own.

Me and my dad are in a 56,56,57 chevy car club there is a guy with 2 really rare cars ill have to snap some pictures his place is amazing also looks like a 50's diner and the garage is decked out in 50's stuff also. 1 of the cars is a 57 chevy el moraco convertable the back almost looks like a caddy its 1 of 3 left in existance maybe ever more rare now.The other is a 57 chevy black widow race car I forget the driver name ill have to look up some more on it its not a original one but the restoration was done with exact detail to the original car. His place was on the cover of chevy hi performance before im pretty sure.
