For those who have an oil pressure gauge...

Get under your engine and look at your oil filter, above the filter is the stock sensor (silver in color) remove it, get 2 t blocks and connect them with a coupling, the stock part will go in one opening the after market sender will go in the other.

Yes the stock location is best, but you will need an 1/8" BPT/NPT nipple. (BPT threads into the block, NPT to the T, then screw both sensors in. So, you'll have a lot going on down there.

On mine, I added a flow control valve to control pressure to the turbo, so my oil pressure sensor is by the flow control rather than back there (just depends upon where you want to measure the pressure).

Mine is on the oil inlet for the turbo.

I was looking at this as a possible option, along with going at the back of the block. How does the heat from the turbo treat your sender? Wires look like they have been a little "warm."

no problems as of yet.. I should slide that heat shield over those wires

be careful when mounting it with the stock sensor, you can get a short if your starter hits it, there is little room and when you put the sensors and t on there it makes a lot of weight and the npt fittings are not very strong so be really careful when tightening and stuff.

EDIT: i moved mine so it was easier to get to, its on the pass side firewall.

Can you explain how you went about relocating the sender.
