For Sale: 2002.5 Protege5 Midnight Blue

After 2 1/2 great years of ownership, i'm selling my 2002.5 Protege5. The reason is i'm getting a company car and won't need this one. I love the car, love what i've done with it, but hey, a free bmw530i is a free bmw530i. So here's the info:

Basic info on the car:
65489 miles, runs perfectly, 5 spd, sunroof, NO ABS, cloth interior, stock polished wheels.

Things i've done:
Kartboy short shifter with bushings
Shaun Darbie Shift Boot
M3 style color matched mirrors with WORKING LED's
DaveB polished rings
Short "stubby" antennae

Recent work:
New Bridgestone Potenza SO3 pole position tires (incredible tires!!!)

The sub enclosure was made by a lister on here named sport_20. I believe he's in Australia or New Zealand. It's a perfect fit, looks great. Would be nice if the color matched my car, but I figured nobody really sees it anyway so I didn't go that route. It has a nice JL 10w6v2 sub in it. I also connected a JL bass knob to the JL amp for when one song has just a little too much boom to it, you can adjust with a turn of a button by the fog lights switch. I built a sub floor for the amp with 4 cooling fans in it too. Nothing hi tech or fancy, but it looks decent and is very functional.

My preference is to find someone who wants the car, with the audio equipment so I don't have to uninstall it all. Give me a week or two and if I get no leads, i'll post back with some prices on the individual items.

Ask me any questions you have. If you're an out of towner, I can find someone else on the board who lives in this area and you can get their opinion on the car.

Bump for lowered price...my new car is here and I need to sell this now!

$8200 for the car without all the audio stuff, or $8800 with all the audio stuff! This is a great deal, simply because I need the money now! I didn't want to have to sell the audio stuff before the car, but if it doesn't sell soon, I may have to go that route. Uninstalling isn't much fun.

I've had people pm me about individual items...If I don't have a solid lead on selling the car by Saturday, i'll be contacting you to negotiate a price and get the ball rolling.

Buy my car!!! It's an awesome car!!!
(but my new 2003 BMW 530i is pretty sweet too!!!)

Update: I sold my car to the first guy to come and look at it. Final price was $8150...a bargain in my opinion.

The new owner did not opt for any of the audio equipment so if anyone wants anything listed in the first post, let me know. I can take individual pics for you. Get in line for the sub enclosure, I have a guy interested already, i'll post again if he doesn't buy it...same with the kenwood ddx-8017.

Love the website, spent many hours browsing the posts, finding answers to my questions, etc...
