For a cheaper Budget tire

Probably gonna order mine in the next few weeks

If you have a discount tire around you, just stop in there and tell them the price that is on discounttiredirect.com and they'll match it.

I am debating between the Falken Ziex 512s, Avon Tech M550 A/S, Yokohama AVID H4S, and Yokohama ADVAN S.4.s (on the high end with Advans - they're a bit more than I want to spend)...

Ziex's on both Proteges. Love 'em. Great tire for the money.

I had Ventus HR IIs on my old tiburon and they were very good. 340 treadwear and the wet and dry performance was awesome and the price was very good.

Ordered mine today. After shopping around the best price I found was $325 shipped whch is $81.25 each. I got them from a tire distributer on EBAY. So I ordered them. I dont think anyone could beat that price.

should have went to tire rack. they got Goodyear f1's on sale for 88 bucks.

yes, 88 bucks. they are normally around 140

That's a good deal, but I need all season :)

All season tires suck at everything. I had 512's on my last car, and they didn't do s*** in even a dusting...might as well have had my Azenis on.

I like mine so far. You don't lose a lot on cornering and they handle very well in the rain, where as the potenzas did not.

Yes I am poor trying to save for more mods, so a cheaper all around tire will help me in the long run to save for the Chip!

I don't think the Potenza's are too bad in the rain. My 512's I think did have a slight edge in the rain though, I agree. I am just saying, all seasons (esp. in 17") don't do s*** in the white stuff. Get some snowies before we have to see an MSP #xxx totaled thread :(

Whats up guys? Just wanted to put my 3cents in. I've own sumitomo HTR++ on 2 different cars (both Taurus SHO's) and they are awesome in the rain and snow. They are on sale at tirerack.com for 79 dollars. They also have a 45k warranty on they, which is hard to find on high-performance tires. I'll be ordering some this week. Check them out!!

I just put the 512's on my car today, THe fell a lot more squishy than the stock tires, A little more roll to them.

That squishyness will go away after a bit. Mine were like that for a week or so.
